Resident Student Assistant

The Resident Student Assistant Department of Residence staff member whose responsibility is to serve as a student advisor for sbout 150-200 students, in a university residence. As an advisor, the RSA provides the assistantce to students regarding personal, interpersonal and academic concerns, and is instrumental in assisting the house in becoming a cohesive and inclusive living and learning community.

The RSA is supervised by the Residence Manager. In conjuction with the other RSA's, as well as Student Life Officer in some residences, he or she develops and suppots the objectives of residence programmes, helps maintain residence and university policies and procedures, and assists with the administration of the residence.
